From what Hiroe referred to in a rather politic way on vent, I think he and Kitone are working out a way to break the shell in a fair manner (i.e., dealing with bank issues).

I've not officially resigned yet either, though I believe most of the people in the shell believe I have. I don't think I'll be making a formal farewell post anyway. One of the only reasons I'm hanging around at all is to see what happens with the bank, which is large and should in my opinion be distributed as fairly and easily as possible among those still playing, in PM or not.

I do gather that the bank is being liquidated, but also that there's opposition to that happening until /angry gets off the ground so those joining it will miss their share. That's not something I've been told outright but reading between the lines of a few posts there leads me to believe it.

I don't care all that much about pretend money, but the idea of much or all of it landing in Weeks's lap because he can wait it out while poisoning the rest of the shell pisses me off.

Anyway, if i don't end up being compensated, I've got pop items and such i'll be more than happy to not hand off, and sell. I know I'm owed over a million gil of paycheques, still...

That's pretty much exactly what Kitroe said Weeks's position was. But they overruled him, saying it was old money that everyone earned.

They're paying out paycheques, and I wouldn't hand off any pops to Weeks unless explicitly told to :p Hiroe/Kitone is a different story, though. They may be selling them (i.e. liquidating all of PM's assets) to split the gil, who knows.
