I work Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Each day, I go in at 4:00 PM(EST). Thse are really the only days where I won't be able to make it online during CST/MST/PST times. When is good for you all?

If a hundred thousand gil asking price is any indication of how hard it is to actually farm a Codex then I'm probably putting myself in a painful situation, but I'm thinking of hunting down Tauri in Phomiuna. Anybody interested?

I'd love to help. I suppose it beats wasting gil on buying one if I can just go farm with someone(Especially since I went looking in Batallia bazaars, and I cold only find one for 200k...). I suppose it also helps that I can bring some TH2 to the table. When ya' wanna' hit it up? Oh- and which jobs do you have at 50?

The low-tier taurus in Phomina are very easily solo'd by a NIN, I imagine RDM + THF could do this, and I'd be happy to NIN it up just for ease.

The only issue is repops, as there are only three Taurus in the room, and you spend a lot of time waiting for them to respawn.

With the three of us we might be able to take out the mid-range Tauri, too. The Stegos, which have a higher drop rate. I need to make practice farming, too, so I can either bring out RDM or THF and we could even try to sync for expz, though it wouldn't likely be the smartest thing.

Pretty easy to solo on RDM as well, though one thing I do want to point out is that killing Tauri lowers your fomor hate, so if you have a shitload built up already it'd be cool if someone else could farm the actual codexes.

They're pretty easy to kill in sacrarium, near the entrance, too (on nin). However, you have to pay attention.

In Phomiuna, you'll be capped at 40. Take off your Linkshell and it won't be hard to see when they ready Mortal Ray, there's plenty of time to turn around if you stare at your combat log.

In a related note, does anyone know offhand if you can change the log colors of enemies preparing abilities or spells? That would be so useful.

That one I'm actually not sure of. The only chat filter I mess with other than party/shell is 'attacks you evade', making that a bright color like blue makes it easier to catch when you get shadows taken or parry/evade while tanking when shit flies through the log.

I think its called Special attacks started on/by foes

dont remember off hand but i know i changed to so i can better see TP moves so i can ready C5 on tanith

Yeah, I messed around with it a little today. It's a hot mess in Campaign, but it seemed to work pretty well in other fights.
